The "kids' floor" in an Upper East Side townhouse received a complete revamping from Charlap Hyman & Herrero. A media room, two bedrooms, and a nursery comprise a series of textually diverse, layered spaces. Recalling Giò Ponti's interiors for the Andrea Doria in the 1950s, CHH used marbleized rubber materials for patterned floors and cabinetry throughout, an assortment of geometric fabrics, and a mix of vintage and contemporary furniture.
