Charlap Hyman & Herrero designed Jeffrey Deitch Gallery's exhibition, Live the Art, at Art Basel. Intended to evoke a house in which visitors are invited to "live with the art", and coinciding with the 100th anniversary of Surrealism, the booth paid homage to the home of Edward James. The floors were covered in a billiard green carpet, and a custom trompe-l’œil wallpaper resembles the tufted walls of the drawing room at Monkton House. Floating in the space is a Bocca sofa, inspired by Salvador Dalí's Mae West Lips sofa.
