“To celebrate two decades of artistic impact as well as Document’s A New Perspective issue, the organizations joined forces to host Performa’s Artist Party on the 17th floor of WSA in Manhattan. Following a gala honoring Tschabalala Self and Paul Pfeiffer—as well as fundraising for Performa’s programming to come—revelers were treated to sounds by Kevin Aviance, S’Aint Panic, and Alissa Brianna, as well as an exhibition and architectural intervention by Charlap Hyman & Herrero featuring the work of Nathalie Djurberg and Hans Berg, Elmgreen and Dragset, Marcel Dzama, Madeline Holland, Mike Kelley, Tarik Kiswanson, Barbara Kruger, Liz Magic Laser, Tschabalala Self, Laurie Simmons, Shikeith and Francesco Vezzoli, and David Hallberg.”
