"Conversations with Al Serkal Avenue began six years ago and Leila Heller Gallery Dubai threw open its doors last November. In between, it was decided that the UAE chapter of Leila’s hugely popular gallery in Chelsea, New York would become the largest in the Middle East, occupying a space that was almost 15,000 square feet large. The project was ambitious, but Leila and her eldest son Alexander, who is also gallery director, had very clear ideas on how they would achieve their vision."
