Nina Johnson Gallery / Gallery Diet in Miami worked with Charlap Hyman & Herrero to create their new home: a series of houses and commercial buildings on two acres in Little Haiti that was transformed into a complex of viewing spaces, offices and studios. A courtyard and garden run throughout the property, linking together the structures and providing additional outdoor exhibition space. The gallery's diverse program required an architectural approach that was at once pared down and celebratory of exuberant Miami vernacular.
