CHH worked with artist Camille Henrot and curator Julike Bosch on the 2021 show, Mother Tongue, at the Kestner Gesellschaft in Hanover. The massive gallery, having once been a public pool, was enveloped with a swirling constellation of pattern which provided a dynamic yet subtle backdrop for the works. The motifs were created by Pilar Almon who meticulously drew images of unfurling scrolls of paper, which bear the titles of the nearest work. They were printed as vinyl decals that were applied by a team of installers at the museum all over the walls, the floor and the pedestals. Around the edges of the room a grey gradient border recalled the edges of white walls in the 3D computer model of the space.
