Title
Tina Kim's Long Island Villa
"'It's a great neighborhood to get away from the hustle and bustle and spend time with the family. I fish on the fresh and clean beach, and I catch crabs and clams. I go for a walk on the beach and paddleboard.' Her architect Adam Charlap Hyman teamed up with her to redesign this beautiful 1930s villa. Purchased in 2011 and remodeled in 2013, she commissioned Adam to design the villa entirely. Adam, a young architect born in 1989, was responsible for both the interior design of the site and her Manhattan townhouse. 'I worked with Adam for a long time, so I could count on everything,” she said. In particular, he recommended all the furniture in this villa. He has a delicate sense that I don't have, so he even decided on fabric prints. So the 19th-century romance of Belport Bay is still there in this villa.'"
