Batsheva’s First Store Is an Ode to Collaborative Thinking and Feminist Art
“'It all started with the Of Purism show I curated at Nina Johnson gallery in 2017,' explains Adam Charlap Hyman of Charlap Hyman & Herrero, who worked on the store’s interiors with the brand’s founder, Batsheva Hay. 'The exhibition was about the paradoxical relationship between looking back and making progress. I included one of Hay’s dresses in the show, and we have stayed friends ever since.'”
