New York Botanical Gardens Hosts Winter Ball, Brooklyn Museum to Spotlight Studio 54, and More News in New York Here’s What You Need to Know
"Members of the design and fashion communities ushered in the holiday season at the New York Botanical Gardens’ annual Winter Wonderland Ball last Friday, which raised over $300,000 for the garden and its programing. The design highlight of the evening was the twinkling Holiday Train Show, which this year features more than 175 iconic New York landmarks, each crafted from natural materials. Spotted delighting in the scene was designer Adam Charlap Hyman of Charlap Hyman & Herrero, who told AD PRO: 'My favorite folly is the Guggenheim, with its defining feature—a stack of enormous mushrooms. The grotesque plants suit the personality of the building so exquisitely.'"
